The idea for DEMOBRAT was born in a fit of rage while watching American politics and government unravel into a corrupt sideshow over the course of 2024-2025.

Yeah we know about the whole Charli xcx "brat summer" and how the democrats kind of tried to make that their thing, but DEMOBRAT itself is NONPARTISAN. Yup. You got that right. 

DEMOBRAT = DEMOCRACY BRAT

DEMOBRAT represents a disaffected younger generation (broadly, millennials and younger) for whom American politics is simply not working. Democrats? fuck 'em. Republicans? fuck 'em. Politics is an industry. An industry that runs on getting Americans to hate each other based on their perceived beliefs so that those in power can stay there. How can we rekindle the fire that brought this country into existence – the motivation to create a better life for its citizens?

DEMOBRAT is political satire for the 21st century which hopes to create a community that champions political thought, discussion, and hopefully, accountability and reform. But also, we don't take ourselves too seriously... and you shouldn't either.
